We are inspired by bringing people together through food
We love creating opportunities to cook together and share knowledge, experience and culture whilst generating funds for both Team Canteen and our partner organisations. We want our projects and spaces to be inclusive of people from all backgrounds, diverse in output and places where people can come together and share their knowledge, skills, experience and culture.

The Anti Banquet is a feast like no other. Rewriting the rules of what a banquet should be, turning the concept of a charity dinner on its head, in order to benefit those who need it the most.

We have partnered with Feed The Homeless to feed fish and chips to people experiencing homelessness in Bristol. We are also expanding this to care homes and are working with Alive to provide a full reminiscence experience to go alongside their fish and chips.

Since 2022, we have donated nutritious recipe meal kits each month to BS3 Food Club and have just started supplying the kits to Barton Hill Food Club. We’re looking to supply to more Bristol Food Clubs too!

Team Canteen are proud to support Caring in Bristol with their Caring at Christmas Project. Since Christmas 2022 we helped coordinate Bristol chefs and restaurants to provide warming daily delicious lunches for people experiencing homelessness.

Team Canteen has a presence at a number of festivals to raise awareness about issues surrounding food vulnerability through our discussion panel and generating funds for our work through our Festival Coffee Shed.

Team Canteen are proud to work with, run and provide space for a huge range of events for organisations that are making a difference

Live cook-along classes, filmed from The Pony and Trap and Emmeline’s kitchens, were designed for people to take part from the comfort of their own kitchens.

Team Canteen have worked with organisations to help with their set up and also offer kitchen design consultations to various causes, to help them make use of their new space efficiently.

We have run various projects to help deliver school meals, ready meals and veg boxes to schools, community hubs and distribution partners for those in need.

We have been actively involved in various initiatives to support young people in the hospitality industry.
We have provided Kickstart placements, mentored trainees, and collaborated with organisations offer hands-on training and career guidance to young individuals.
